The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental headed by Governor Bambi Emano, with Atty Jeffrey Caudor Saclot (The Provincial Tourism Head) recently celebrated the Tourism Week 2018 last September 10-14, 2018 with the grand launching of "Tienda sa MISOR": A MISOR Food Exhibit, Photos and Painting Exhibit by the Camera Club of Cagayan de Oro, and the Grand launching of the 2018 ATOP National Convention at the Activity Center, Centrio Mall-Ayala, and the Provincial Capitol Grounds.
Last September 10, 2018 (Monday), The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental formally opened this year's Tourism Week Celebration with a Flag Raising at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, and the unveiling of the Photo and Painting Exhibit at the Provincial Capitol Lobby. The Photos by the Camera Club of Cagayan de Oro showcased the different destinations, and festivals of Misamis Oriental such as the sports of Skimboarding at Opol, Sagpulon Falls of Jasaan, Sunrise at Laguindingan, the old pier of Balingasag, Canapulan Falls in Naawan, and the province's very own Kuyamis Festival.

On September 11, 2018 (Tuesday), the "Tienda sa MISOR": A MisOr Food Exhibit was officially launched. Different municipalities from the province joined the celebration by showcasing the distinct flavors of each municipalities. The celebration was also showcased the dance performance conducted by the different Municipality Tourism Officers headed by the Provincial Tourism Head himself. Additionally, the celebration highlited the grand launching of the ATOP National Convention which will be happening on October 03-05, 2018. The three lovely ladies of Misamis Oriental Ms Monica Tan- Ms Kuyamis 2018, Ms Berjayneth Chee- Ms Earth Philippines Water 2018, and Ms Danna Rose Socaoco- candidate for the Ms Millennial Philippines 2018 joined the celebration together with the Regional Director of Tourism Ms May Salvana, the SP members, and the executive members of the Provincial Tourism, Culture, and Arts Council.

Last September 12 and 13, the celebration continued with Lecture by the Department of Agriculture and Provincial Agriculture (DA and PAGRO), and Inter-school Culinary Competition. This was also highlighted with the Search for the Torism Singing Ambassador.
