#ForMindanaoExhibit Stories of Hope and Resilience successfully launched at the Apple Tree Resort and Hotel Lobby

The US Embassy in the Philippines successfully launched the #ForMindanaoExhibit Stories of Hope and Resilience at the Lobby, Apple Tree Resort & Hotel (ATRH), October 13, 2018 with Mr Philip Roskamp, Public Affairs Counselor, US Embassy in the Philippines.

The #ForMindanao Exhibit: Stories of Hope and Inspiration is a collection of shots that tell the inspiring actions that followed Marawi siege, along with the heroes behind the rebirth.

This exhibit aims to immortalize the resilience and the strength exhibited by the first respondents, the rigid spirits of the Maranao people, and the volunteers that helped to break the old grounds for the future through innovative and inclusive projects to help better the quality of life.

The exhibit starts at the core of the narrative with shots of The Heroes in the Aftermath that show first responders at the beginning of the siege. What follows are The Faces of Lanao: Life After Conflict that include the shots of the communities that are heavily affected by the siege. Next includes The People Who Endure: Progress through Projects, that show the different project initiatives of #ForMindanao conceived by the community members of Mindanao, and the Heroes of Resilience who became the backbone of the whole project.

The launching started with a prayer and national anthem with welcome address, and showcased the Presentation of Top 3 projects namely:
1. Project Peace Crops
    Presenter: Robert dela Serna
2. Project Palapa sa Lumba
    Presenter: Jalilah Hadji-Sapiin
3. Project SPELL Peace in Butig
