4th Kabaybayonan Festival 2019 Schedule of Events and Activities

Now on its 4th year, the Local Government of Opol headed by Hon Maximino B. Seno, the Municipal Mayor, and the Local Tourism Office headed by the Municipal Tourism Officer Mr Kim Lazo together with the local partners is inviting everyone in celebrating the Kabaybayonan Festival 2019 happening on April 26-27, 2019 at Taboc, Opol, Misamis Oriental.

The municipality of Opol is the nearest municipality outside Cagayan de Oro City and has been known as a weekend getaway in the province of Misamis Oriental because of its long-stretch fine sand.

The 4th Kabaybayonan Festival which started last 2014 is a two-day festivity highlighting different sets of events such as Beach Volley Competition, Boat Dressing Contest, Kite Fest Competition, Duathlon, and the three main highlights of the celebration: Skim Boarding Tournament, Beach Dancing Competition, and Mr and Ms Kabaybayonan Festival.

- 08:00am- Community Mass at Marvilla Beach Resort

              - Opening Program

              - National Anthem (CANNED)

              - Acknowledgement of Participants/Visitors/Sponsors

              - Words of Welcome: Hon. Felixberto R. Macasarte, Jr. 

                                           (Chairman, Committee on Tourism)

              - Overview of the Kabaybayonan Festival by:
